Beijing took the pride in hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics. The matter has been goodly and badly criticized by different media and people. From the logo they have used to the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) they have built in order to house the different game facilities. But these did not stop a must see event. When the Olympics opened people from the four corners of the earth was struck on how spectacular it came out.
The past weeks had been a difficult time for me. I have had problems with my internet connection, and was finally resolved after more than a month. Then a virus hit my laptop, the Winspywareprotect malware/spyware!
Original Post Date (July 29, 2008) - Yes, I’m back again with Smartbro New account, old portal. The problem that was discussed before was that I was always redirected to the old portal. There’s a new portal now that was made that will require you to enter your Service Reference Number and Account Number while the old portal requires username and password. They made this change as there have been issues of stealing of accounts.

My Smartbro (formerly Smart WiFi last 2005) connection started to redirect to its portal in the middle of my browsing and as I open my browser. This started last June 21 and I reported the matter on June 24. Whenever the portal authenticates, I always get the “Timeout in getting SID. Please try again. If this error shows again, please call tech support” and ”Account is temporarily deactivated. New setting in connection” as a result. The Smartbro that we subscribed last 2006 was the plan Php999, unlimited, 384kbps.
“Wanted” movie was shown in the cinemas last June 27 this year. I was able to watch it today, right before I made this blog. To sum up, there’s sex, violence and profanity in the movie. It was rated R from some critics and reviews. It would have been a dvd or vcd must have for general audiences without the sex part. I remember how the Italian Job movie was done without the sensual scenes and it was great. It’s safe for all ages to watch and this is what the movie industry should have to have a wide range of moviegoers.
I have a Nokia N70 phone and I am not really into playing the games installed. I usually use it to text or to call friends and relatives, taking pictures from it or just listen to the songs during bedtime when it’s hard for me to sleep. Well, I don’t have the game in my phone, but my cousin’s daughter has it.
