There was no much effort with the “kabonfootprint” SEO contest on my part. And when I received an email coming from UKWebmasterWorld, it says:
“Hello UK WW members,
Things have started to move forward again at UK WW and we are putting in a lot of work in the background to new systems, tools and competitions.
That being said of course we also have some bad news, the sponsor for the kaboon SEO contest pulled out leaving us without prize money! We are about to start building a new automated competition system for the next SEO contents and will make the prizes MUCH MUCH larger to make up for this!
So I apoligize for the late notice.”
Now I know why.

There are hospitals who have a footprint identity chart for the newly born babies. This is done to prevent a mix up or switching of babies. The card includes the mother’s name and the baby’s name. It also serves as hospital records.
This is not found in the birth certificates. Some parents keep footprints of the baby for book scrapping.

For many years, the poem “Footprints in the Sand” has touched many lives and has drawn them closer to God. It has served as an inspiration to all the meek and lowly in heart.
Footprints in the Sand was published anonymously and has been claimed by a couple of people its authorship. The real author was Mary Stevenson who was born in Chester, Philadelphia on November 8, 1922. She wrote the poem in 1936 and has written copies to share with friends. And in the 1940s there have been print copies of it where she never was credited.
She tried pursuing her claim for authorship and in 1980 she found a copy of the “Footprints in the Sand” that she had not seen since 1959 and later was awarded a copyright for the poem.
Mary Stevenson passed away in January 1999.
Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?”
The Lord replied,
“The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”
